$16.00 Crab Leg

These are images of a single crab leg that I ate in February of 2008 that cost $16.00. It was certainly delicious and filled with an abundance of meat. Keep in mind, this wasn't even a front claw. What are the odds the crab was caught by one of the crab boats on Deadliest Catch? Great show!

  1. The Red King Crab legs are very delicious. Too bad you paid so much. But I guess $16 per pound is not expensive...if it's just you. Imagine, if you could buy this size leg at $8 per pound! These guys in Houston (www.seafoodsamurais.com) sell Red King Crab legs for the cheapest I have ever seen. But, they only deliver to the Houston area. My uncle ordered 100 pounds for our family reunion! That was his contribution. Strange choice for him...he usually brings beef brisket. My aunt brought the brisket this time. Anyway, I hadn't seen these many meaty legs since my cousin's (that same uncle's son) bachelor party at the BNC! They were delicious. And when I say "they", I'm talking about the Red King Crab legs. I wouldn't dare try to taste 'stripper-juice'! By the way, BNC = Butt - Naked - Club (aka the strip club).
